ABOUT
PERSONAL APPROACH
Internet is a world wide place of communication and information exchange. And, first of all, Internet webpages should serve this goal by being designed with clarity and by following the principles of usability, so as to be user friendly. The functionality of a website is the most important thing a web designer should know. However, after achieving this goal there is plenty of space for expressing and exercising individual artistic skills on the look of a website. And that's the challenge of creating a nice website, the match and balance of usability and artwork!
PRESENTATION
That's my personal approach about web design which is an endless field of creativity. And that's why I'm continuously practising in many designing techniques and technologies. I have already had a total knowledge of HTML and, to be more specific, XHTML. Moreover, I have an absolute command of CSS which help me styling light webpages and exactly the way I want them to be, which is, as I believe, the most important thing a web designer should know. Additionally, I'm continuously studing on Javascript, Ajax, PHP and MySQL for the transition into totally dynamic webpages. At present, I can use PHP for basic dynamic projects and I can make websites obtain complete communication with MySQL databases.
APPLICATIONS
The tools I use to help me in the building of website are the basic Adobe's applications: Dreamweaver (the basic compiling tool), Flash (for animation, interactivity and effects) and Photoshop and Imageready (for processing photos and images). At the same time, I'm studing on using Adobe's Illustrator (for vector graphics) and also on a couple of 3D production applications like Swift 3D and Google's Sketchup.
FUTURE PERSPECTIVES
My intention is to develop my designing skills and techniques continuously and moreover, to learn new technologies while perfecting those I have already taken up. My personal goal is to make smart, stylish and unique websites for the clients and, of course, according to their needs. Furthermore, I'm always interested in making websites according to web standards so as to be complied to most Internet browsers.
